IMPORTANT: Your contest entry consists of three components:
(1) ONLINE ENTRY (2) EMAILED FORMS (3) ENTRY FEE
All three components are required for your contest entry to be complete.
ONLINE ENTRY
Must be submitted by September 17, 2026
- You will need a Texas Music Forms account. If you are new to your campus this year, please send an email to uilmusicregion29@gmail.com with the following information in order to receive a new Texas Music Forms login:
- First and last name
- School
- Division
- Work phone number
- Work email address
- Enter your group in Texas Music Forms
- Complete Form-2 Marching as instructed.
- Be sure to mark the Area Intent box if you plan to advance past the Region marching contest.
- After you submit your entry, click on the My Entries tab, select the event, click Show Entries, then print or save the Form 1A Invoice and provide it to the person who will pay your entry fee.
EMAILED FORMS
Must be submitted by September 17, 2026
Complete the following forms as instructed including all applicable signatures. Email one copy of each completed form to the Region Secretary at uilmusicregion29@gmail.com.
- Statement of Compliance
- Announcer Script
- Form 1 (with Principal’s Signature) List the entire eligible membership of the competing organization in alphabetical order. A hard copy of this form may be turned in on the day of the contest, but must be in the hands of the contest chair prior to your students’ performance.
ENTRY FEE
Contact your Fine Arts Administrator for the procedure to request a check for your entry fee and submit the following to the Executive Secretary:
- Form 1A Invoice from Texas Music Forms
- Entry Fee: $525.00
- Make Checks Payable to: UIL Music Region 29 c/o Richard Herrera
